Director of Research

Janet Springfield has been with Reeder & Associates Ltd. since June of 1997. As Research Director, she is responsible for all research including both candidate identification and company research. Prior to joining Reeder & Associates Ltd., Ms. Springfield spent many years in medical and scientific research. Her experience included directing laboratory research for the Streptococcal Research Laboratory in the Department of Infectious Disease at The Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, and project coordinator for several projects in the Department of Microbiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Ms. Springfield received a B.S. in Microbiology at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa in 1975, and earned her M.P.H. at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1982. She and her
husband Doug have two sons.
